In the men’s first-team, Conor Gallagher and Michael Olise lit up two fiercely contested away trips to Brighton and Millwall respectively – the former following a sumptous team move which saw all 11 players touch the ball, and the latter showcasing a piece of individual brilliance.
Elsewhere Odsonne Edouard turned home at the end of a truly slick move against Liverpool.
The Academy teams produced their own moments of brilliance, with Jesurun Rak-Sakyi’s curling effort for the Under-23s, David Ozoh’s neat finish after a clever backheel and John Kymani-Gordon’s effort blasted into the net.
For the women’s side, Molly-Mae Sharpe’s excellent finish against Durham is among the contenders.
