Marco Silva has confirmed that Manor Solomon is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The winger made his debut from the bench against Liverpool, but suffered an injury the following day.
“Nate Chalobah is working with the team,” Silva replied when asked for an update. “Unfortunately for us we have the two injuries with Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon. They will be out of the [Wolves] match.
“It’s [Solomon’s] knee. Last Sunday in the session. Probably he will get surgery in the next few days.
“Then we will have more news about it and be more sure of the timeline for him to come back.
“But it looks like he’ll be a long time injured. Let’s see, I think it’s better we wait for the surgery, and after we will know more details about it.”
Silva was also asked if there was any update on Wilson.
“We have to see week by week. Let’s see what will happen.
“It doesn’t look so long as Manor Solomon, but six, eight weeks it could be.
“It’s a long time injured for us. We’re talking about probably 10 games.”
