Harrison Reed’s devastating performance at Elland Road has seen him win Man of the Match.
The all-action midfielder thought he had put his side in front when he did everything right with his 14th minute shot that beat goalkeeper Illan Meslier, only for Marc Roca to make a sensational block on the line.
Reed wasn’t to be denied his goal involvement, though, with his nimble footwork in the box allowing him to jink beyond Robin Koch before getting to the byline and cutting back a fine pass for Willian to slot home what proved to be the winning goal.
That was one of three chances Reed created during the match, a number bettered only by Andreas Pereira (four) in the Fulham team, while nobody else on the pitch won more than his nine duels.
More than half (50.9%) the fans who voted opted for Reed as our standout performer on Sunday, with two assists for Andreas seeing the playmaker come in second (15.2%), ahead of third place Willian (13.1%).
