HULL MATCHDAY PREVIEW

January 6, 2023 11:47 am

HULL CITY V FULHAM | SATURDAY 7TH JANUARY 2023 | 3PM | MKM STADIUM | #HULFUL

The opposition

  • Despite sitting 16th in the Championship, Hull have been in fine form since their return from the World Cup break and are on a five-match unbeaten run with three draws and two wins. They secured a comprehensive 4-1 victory away at bottom club Wigan in their last outing.
  • The Tigers needed a managerial change to turn their fortunes around after a sluggish start, with Liam Rosenior replacing Shota Arveladze in the dugout. The former Fulham full-back has lost just one of his eight games in charge so far.
  • Only Wigan have given away more goals than Hull this season, but Rosenior has revitalised his side’s defence; they’re now conceding less than a goal a game and have kept two clean sheets since his arrival, while Colombian striker Óscar Estupiñán has scored three in three at the other end of the pitch.
