Marco Silva believes the best side won during Fulham’s impressive 2-0 victory over Forest.
Following a relentless opening 60 minutes, the Whites dealt with some threatening attacks before adding a second goal late on.
Marco said: “First hour, I thought we were the much better team on the pitch.
“After 60 minutes, there came a reaction from them. After one or two moments when we lost in the ball, they got one or two dangerous moments and there was a great save from Bernd (Leno) as well.
“But until that moment, we created so many chances to punish them or to kill the game. The late goal was really important for us and it’s a massive three points, and a clean sheet as well.”
The deadlock was broken by Willian, who continued to roll back the years with a beauty of a strike.
“About Willian, I will repeat the same thing: he is a top class player and a great guy. He keeps playing with a smile on his face and keeps working hard every single day on the training ground.
“I know that he wants more and he knows that he always has myself behind him to demand from him and give him all the confidence for him to keep showing his quality.
“It’s really important for us to share goals and not have just one player to score goals. As you know, if you look to the past, my wingers normally score goals and have to arrive in certain areas to score goals.”
The victory moves Fulham back up to seventh in the Premier League table, taking their points tally to 35.
“It was well-played from the players and they deserve a lot of credit, and we’ve achieved 35 points which is a great achievement from ourselves.
“We are pleased and proud of our season so far, but you know if we switch off right now, it will be difficult to collect more points and we want to add more points.”
