ANDREAS: SHOW WHAT WE’RE CAPABLE OF

March 7, 2023 1:20 pm

Andreas Pereira is hoping Fulham’s record against our local rivals continues on Monday night.

The Whites have taken seven points from a possible nine against Chelsea and Brentford so far this season, ahead of Monday night’s showdown with the Bees.

“When we beat Brentford, with the last minute header from Mitro, it was really something special,” Andreas recalled.

“That was the first derby we won this season, the fans were just jumping around and I could tell the atmosphere was different.

“And then it was the same against Chelsea with another late goal – it was crazy. Hopefully we don’t leave it until the last minute again and we can secure the win, but I know it will be a tough game.”

Brentford have been in good form in the Premier League, not tasting defeat in their previous 11 fixtures.

“I think it’s going to be difficult,” Andreas admitted. “They always show that it’s a very difficult place to go, we know that, but we’ve prepared the best we can, and we know what to do.

“We expect that they’ll be very tough against us, but we’re ready for that and we’ll try to win the game.

“We were a bit disappointed not to get more out of the Wolves match, but now we have the perfect chance against Brentford.

“We know it’s a difficult place to go, but we can show what we’re capable of, to get the three points.”
