Fulham Women played Sutton in their season finale on Sunday, selling out Motspur Park.
It was time for one last run out for the Fulham side, showing all the work and effort that they had put in all season.
Fulham began to test the Sutton goalkeeper around the 10 minute mark, courtesy of a couple of Charmain True attempts. The second one forced a goalkeeping error, which allowed Summer Roberts to chase the ball down and put Fulham ahead.
True goes on to score Fulhams second and third goal of the game, with great assists from Emily Bird and Tessa Allen.
Seconds before the half-time whistle Sutton do manage to get a goal, making the score 3-1 going into the break.
Fulham won possession high up the pitch, sending the ball towards the space in front of Loïs Konan, who makes no mistake with her finish.
Just under 10 minutes later True shows complete composure when faced with the goalkeeper and gets her hat-trick.
Sutton get a second goal in the 77th minute, however this dosen’t slow Fulham down.
Ede Buchele gets on the end of Alex Hayman’s cross and scores a perfectly timed header.
Fulham end their season on a high, beating Sutton 6-2 and putting on a great show for the crowd!
