Interim women’s head coach departing for new role

Burnley Football Club can confirm that Burnley FC Women Interim Head Coach Jay Bradford will be leaving the Club to take up the role of Assistant Manager at Rangers Women.

Bradford joined the Clarets in November 2022 as Assistant Coach to Jonathan Morgan having spent seven years at Coventry United Ladies.

In February 2023 she was named interim Head Coach when Morgan departed for women’s Championship outfit Sheffield United Women.

In her tenure Bradford helped guide the Claret women to a third-place finish in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League, with a record point total.

The Club wish to extend our thanks to Jay for all her hard work and efforts during her time with the Clarets.

Burnley FC’s ambitions and commitment to growing women’s football remain a key priority and we will update supporters on a women’s Head Coach appointment in the coming weeks.
