Claret Women fixtures for the upcoming 2023/24 season released

Burnley FC Women will travel to face Liverpool Feds to open their FA Women’s National League 2023/24 campaign, on Sunday 20th August.

The game against Feds, who finished ninth in the table last season, will be followed by the home opener, in which the Claret Women will face Wolves, before a midweek trip to Lancashire rivals AFC Fylde.

A busy September continues with another game on the road against Huddersfield Town, before culminating with a home game against League winners Nottingham Forest and an away fixture against newly-promoted Newcastle United.

October begins with the visit of fellow promoted side Stourbridge and ends with a trip to last season’s 10th placed side Stoke City.

After starting November by hosting West Bromwich Albion, FA and County Cup fixtures will take place to complete the month.

Heading into the winter break, the Claret Women will take on Derby County away from home and then return to action in January by travelling to the West Midlands to take on Wolves.

The reverse fixture with Nottingham Forest takes place at the end of January before an early February visit of Newcastle United.

The campaign will draw to a close with home games against season openers Liverpool Feds and Derby County, with the fixture against the Rams on Sunday 5th May.
