The Clarets have added another new face to the ranks this week ahead of Saturday’s clash, as midfielder Han-Noah Massengo penned a four-year deal at the Club on Thursday following his departure from Bristol City.

The visitors are undergoing a successful ‘transition’ period at the moment in north London after new manager Ange Postecoglu arrived in the summer from Celtic.
Alongside the Australian’s arrival, it was a summer transfer window of ins and out for Spurs, with the most noticeable one of them all being Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich.
Tottenham bolstered their squad with the arrivals of James Maddison from Leicester City, Micky Van de Ven of Wolfsburg, Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk, Guglielmo Vicario arriving from Empoli and the duo of Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski making their respective loan deals permanent.
Departures were fairly minimal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with academy graduate Harry Winks leaving for Leicester City, Lucas Moura returning to Brazil and joining Sao Paulo and both Joe Rodon & Djed Spence signing on season-long loan deals for Leeds United.
Form Guide
Vincent Kompany’s side head into Saturday’s game after sealing the first win of the campaign on Wednesday night at Forest in the Carabao Cup.
Despite suffering home defeats in the two opening Turf Moor fixtures to Manchester City and Aston Villa, the Clarets will be hoping to secure their first points of the Premier League season against Spurs.
Tottenham meanwhile come into the clash after suffering their first defeat of the season on Tuesday night after being dumped out the cup by Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Spurs began their season with a 2-2 draw at Brentford before beating Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth with the same 2-0 scoreline.
What Vincent Kompany said
“There’s no such things as easy games in this league, we have to prepare for every game for the best way possible and be at our best to try get a result.
“Our team have shown something to look forward to and we need continue to build on that, whether it’s against Tottenham on Saturday or any other opposition.
“We always focus on ourselves and our own improvements but we still think we can get a result on Saturday if we do that.”
