Youngster signs for Clarets Academy
Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of youngster Logan Pye from Manchester United.
The 19-year-old has signed a two-year-deal a with the Clarets and will link up with the U21 side at Turf Moor.
Born in Sunderland, Pye began his football with the Black Cats before joining Manchester United in the summer of 2020.
Over three seasons with the Red Devils, the full-back signed his first professional contract and played regularly for the U21 side and played in the FA Youth Cup final.
Pye featured as a trialist in Burnley’s U21 cup victory against Barrow at Leyland on Tuesday night and scored in the league fixture against Cardiff last weekend.
