STADIUM INFORMATION

Roadwork disruption

Work on Harry Potts Way is now complete.

Even though Yorkshire Street has reopened, it remains very busy and congested in this area. We encourage all supporters to arrive early. Harry Potts Way will close to traffic at 1pm.

We advise supporters travelling to the fixture to avoid this area of the town, and to instead travel to Turf Moor by exiting the M65 at junction 9 and follow the yellow diversion signs. When leaving the town post-match, the same route is advised.

Further stadium information

Entry to turnstiles for supporters will open at 1:30pm for both home and visiting supporters.

Please bring photo ID with you as this may be checked as part of our standard ticketing policy.

We will be serving food and beverages on all concourses and will only be accepting cashless methods of payment.

Alcohol-free lager and cider will also be served in all concourses and hospitality areas.

Our matchday magazine, Turf, will be available in print! Grab your copy from the Clarets Store or our programme sellers around the stadium. Alternatively, this can be purchased online for delivery here.

The stadium’s multi faith room has a new location this season. The room has moved to the first floor of the ETC (above the Rapidz Fan Zone).

As part of new regulations, referees will add the exact time lost in goal celebrations, substitutions or injuries to the stoppage time. The time on the big screen will now show added time at the end of each half.

Our security team will be conducting bag checks as per our ground regulations. Please arrive early to allow extra time for the additional process.

Our supporter code of conduct can be found here – please read before coming to the game.

Burnley Football Club is delighted to be partnering with EST parking to provide bookable parking options for home matchdays here at Turf Moor. Click here for more information.

SUPPORTER SAFETY

All supporters at Turf Moor are encouraged to read the below carefully:

The safety of all match participants is of paramount importance and we recognise that reckless actions, witnessed at recent fixtures are carried out by a small minority of fans and the majority of supporters attend and watch matches in a safe and respectful way.

As a football club we expect supporters to adhere to the ground regulations in place at Turf Moor, enjoy the game from their seat and DO NOT enter the playing area at any time. It is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and doing so, may result in a criminal record and stadium bans. It also creates a significant safety issue not only for themselves, but for fellow supporters, Club players, staff and match officials.

It is also against ground regulations to throw any items/missiles on the pitch – any supporter that throws anything, putting the safety of players and individuals at risk, will receive a severe banning order from the Club. This behaviour will not be tolerated.

The Club wants all supporters to enjoy the game safely and thank fans for their continued support.

NO ROOM FOR RACISM

English football unites to tackle racism, hate and all forms of discrimination

A statement from the Premier League…

English football stands united in its determination to tackle racism and remove all forms of discrimination from our game. Throughout October and beyond, The FA, Premier League, English Football League and Kick it Out will reinforce the message that hate and discrimination will not be tolerated at any level of football and action will be taken against perpetrators.

Alongside PGMOL, Professional Footballers’ Association, League Managers Association and the Football Supporters’ Association, the football organisations are urging fans and participants to report discrimination wherever they see it or hear it, to help make football a safer place for everyone.

All organisations are actively working with clubs and authorities, and remain committed to collaborating further with each other, to ensure those who are found guilty of racist or discriminatory behaviour face strong consequences for their actions.

Sanctions include stadium bans, legal prosecutions and custodial sentences for those found guilty of discriminatory behaviour in either the stadium or online, with additional potential points deductions for clubs within the grassroots game. Education and restorative justice initiatives will also be implemented where appropriate.

This builds on the ongoing work to address unacceptable, discriminatory and illegal behaviour across the game, under the football-wide Love Football. Protect the Game initiative, which aims to ensure that the actions of the minority do not spoil the game for all.

In recent years, football authorities have worked as a group to combat online abuse, and most recently we have lobbied the UK Government extensively in the development of the Online Safety Bill. We will continue to pressure social media companies to do more to tackle hate on their platforms.

But we recognise we can do more. Collectively, we’re deeply committed to ensuring our game is representative of modern society by offering equality of opportunity across the whole of football.

Together, we will continue our work to make football a safer, more welcoming, and more enjoyable space for everyone.

Burnley FC support No Room For Racism

We will be showing our support for the campaign throughout the day. You will see branded assets around the stadium, the players will be warming up in branded t-shirts and coaching staff will be wearing No Room For Racism badges.

The players have selected today’s pre-match playlist with their favourite songs by black artists.

In the matchday programme and ahead of the game Alan, Vincent and Josh Brownhill have spoken about the importance of the campaign and the Club’s Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote, who will be joining Phil Bird on co-commentary, has shared her story of breaking barriers.

Following the fixture the match worn shirts will be auctioned off via Match Worn Shirt for the Building Bridges charity as part of the Club’s support of No Room For Racism. The auction link can be found here and we will inform supporters when the auction is live.

INFORMATION REGARDING GOLDCARDS

Supporters may be aware, we have made several changes across Turf Moor during the summer. One of the changes has been to partner with the Compass Group for our catering provision across both hospitality and our concourses. We believe that this move will greatly enhance the matchday experience for all.

One consequence of this move is having to change our till systems, which means you will no longer be able to spend your Goldcard directly at the tills. Instead, you now have the below options:

Hospitality

If you wish to use your Goldcard to pay for your bar bill, we can set up a tab and use the Goldcard to cover the tab at the end of the fixture.

Concourses

You will be able to purchase vouchers from the ticket office to be redeemed at the concourses.

Concourse menu & prices

You can collect the vouchers from the Ticket Office beforehand and you will be able to redeem these vouchers directly at the concourse kiosks. Please note, the vouchers cannot be used at the brand-new self-order units or in the North stand and James McIlroy Lower concourses and Rapidz Fan Zone.
