The Clarets will be looking to extend their unbeaten record at the Emirates to three matches after a 1-0 win there in 2021 and a 0-0 draw in January 2022 against Mikel Arteta’s side.

Arsenal
Former Everton and Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta took charge of the Gunners in 2019 and won the Emirates FA Cup in his first season as boss.
There has been impressive progress at the Emirates under the Spaniard, after two consecutive 8th place finishes were followed up by 5th place finish in the 2021/22 campaign.
Arteta then guided the north London side to 2nd place last season, which saw the Gunners narrowly miss out on the Premier League title behind Manchester City, but secure a UEFA Champions League spot for the first time since 2016.
Ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Arteta bolstered his squad with the signings of midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham, Kai Havertz joining from Chelsea, goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford and defender Jurrien Timber’s arrival from Ajax.

Form Guide
The Clarets travel to London after a tricky run of form following three consecutive defeats in the league following the October international break.
Arsenal come into the clash off the back of their first defeat of the season following a 1-0 loss at Newcastle last weekend.
The Gunners remain unbeaten at home this term, which has seen draws against Fulham and Spurs with victories over Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, Manchester City and Sheffield United.

What Vincent Kompany said
“Our mindset doesn’t ever change. I think the desire to win has to be a habit and this dedicated group give everything they can for this Club.
“Ok, they (Arsenal) have top players and are a top team but it’s a chance to measure ourselves against some of the best and hopefully get a surprise result there.
“There is no lack of effort amongst this team and they work very hard every single day and give their absolute best.
“I think belief is the most important thing and other than tactics, key moments to go our way and a little bit of luck, we have to believe to win.”
