AFC FYLDE LOAN SWITCH FOR WESTLEY

Striker joins National League club until end of season

Burnley Football Club can confirm that Joe Westley has joined AFC Fylde on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Initially joining the Clarets on scholarship terms in January 2021, the striker penned a two-and-a-half-year professional contract in January 2023.

Last season was one of progression for Westley, initially being named U18s captain before his goalscoring attributes earned him a move up into the U21s group for the second half of the campaign.

The 19-year-old will now link up with Chris Beech’s Coasters, who compete in the fifth tier of English football.
