A look in both camps ahead of Saturday

Burnley

Manager Vincent Kompany confirmed in last week’s press conference ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane that both defenders Ameen Al-Dakhil and Jordan Beyer are likely to miss the remainder of the season.

Aaron Ramsey, Nathan Redmond and Luca Koleosho all continue their rehabilitation from their respective longer-term injuries.

Manchester United

Reds boss Erik Ten Hag confirmed in Friday’s press conference that he would have the same players available for selection for the weekend as he did on Wednesday night, apart from midfielder Mason Mount who is set to return to the United matchday squad after two weeks out.

Forward Marcus Rashford remains ruled out, as the England international was not included in the Red Devils’ squad in the 4-2 win against Sheffield United in midweek, after Ten Hag admitted he was ‘doubtful’ to be involved with an ankle issue.

Defender Raphael Varane hasn’t featured in over three weeks for United and remains side-lined for this weekend with a muscle injury, alongside fellow centre-back Victor Lindelöf who hasn’t played since 30th March.

Argentine Lisandro Martinez picked up a calf issue against Brentford last month and remains unavailable for this weekend with the long-term knock, as well as striker Anthony Martial, but Ten Hag admits the pair should feature again later this season for the Reds.

Full-back Luke Shaw has only played 12 games this season through injury and is unlikely to feature on Saturday whilst fellow full-back Tyrell Malacia continues his recovery from a long-term issue.
